Last night was the end of it. Last night had the consistency of pebbles, finally reaching the bottom of my subconscious and leading to my submission to defeat. Last night entailed the words I knew were to be spoken before I heard them. I knew of what news she had for me, and as I step in front of the gun, knowing full well it was loaded, the bullet was fired and hit me in the chest... again. That wound just never seems to heal.
